Hi, I've simplified the script, so now you only need to start the entry with:

and the categories would be automatically added. See your entries that I've edited for example. спасибо.

It is generally okay if you get script error when you added translations in here, I'll look them up and fix the scrip errors (usually because the transliteration modules).

Some helpful templates

I've made these templates to assist entry creation. The idea was based on en.wikt's ASSIST scripts, but here I made it with templates. You can see the example in Wiktionary:Daftar Swadesh bahasa Rusia. Here are the basic pages:

• Wiktionary:Assisted/ru - this is the intro text
• Wiktionary:Assisted/ru/base - the base wrapper code
• Template:Preload/ru - this is the preloaded text
• Templat:Assisted/ru - this is the template to wrap (potentially) red links, such as {{Assisted/ru|несколько|template=default}} -> несколько
• or you could wrap it in the templates itself, such as in Templat:ru-vb-1a: {{Assisted/ru|{{{1}}}ть|{{{2}}}ть}}

For high frequency entries, or if you create entries by sets (e.g. nouns, verbs, declination v-1a or others), you could create a appropriate sub-templates, e.g. Template:Preload/ru/noun or whatever, where you could define a more specific (pre-filled) template than Template:Preload/ru. Names of Wikimedia languages

Dear NHSKR,

we are initiating a long needed action - we would like to translate names of all Wikimedia languages to all Wikimedia languages in the next two months. We have noticed that you are very active on Wiktionary and that is the reason why we are taking liberty to contact you.

We hope that you would be interesting to help us in our endeavor - To make this action easier we have already prepared the list of all Wikimedia languages, and for each language we have already prepared the page with existing and missing translations. So when you go to the page for your language you would have two tasks - to check whether existing translations are OK and to fill in the missing one. The more detailed instruction are on the language page.

What are the benefits of this work?

• We believe it is about time to have all Wikimedia languages translated to all Wikimedia languages :)
• Translated languages will be parsed into Wiktionary and the resulting number of Wiktionary entries will be significant for each language. That could significantly increase the number of entries for less developed Wiktionaries, and improve the quality of entries in general.
• Wikidata - this would be great contribution to Wikidata.
• All other projects could benefit from this list (Wiki Travel :)), as we believe that certain amount of terms has to be properly translated to all languages.

We are gathered around the project Wiktionary Meets Matica Srpska and we hope that you would be interesting in working with us! If you have any questions you can ask them on the Names of Wikimedia languages discussion page or via personal emails.

Important notice: The data are licensed under CC0, as they should be incorporated into Wikidata at the end of the process.

Inkubator Wiktionary bahasa Gorontalo

Selamat pagi. Saya sudah membuat halaman utama untuk Inkubator Wiktionary bahasa Gorontalo [[1]] dengan mengkopy dari halaman inkubator bahasa Banjar. Saat ini saya kesulitan untuk memasukkan lema ke dalam kategori halamannya. Lema yang saya buat tidak terindeks di kategori halaman, seperti yang ini [[2]] dan ini [[3]] Kategori yang saya ccopy dari Wiktionary bahasa Indonesia juga masih error. Saya berbuat begitu, karena saya hendak membuat konten terpusat. Tujuanku, tabel terjemahan ini bisa dipakai antarwiki. Memang, sebenarnya untuk wiki yang bahasa Indonesia entri bahasa Indonesia itu bisa (atau pun sebaiknya?) dicabut -- dan begitu juga pada entri suatu bahasa di wiki yang bahasa sama.

Alangkah bagusnya seandainya kita sudah memiliki pangkalan data tabel terjemahan, dan seandainya juga bukan hanya di wiki bahasa Inggris yang tabelnya lengkap, dan maka kita tidak perlu berulang-ulang membuat tabel terjemahan. Sementara, yang saya selama ini berbuat hanya untuk pencobaan dengan impian bahwa tabelnya suatu hari bisa dipakai di wiki bahasa lain (maka entri bahasa Indonesia -nya dimasukkan). Lain kali memang mungkin sebaiknya saya mencabut saja entri bahasa Indonesia -nya.
